Course Overview
  • TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck is designed for beginners as well as experienced operators.
  • The forklift truck training covers the functions required to operate a forklift truck in a safe and competent manner and thereby qualify for a high-risk work licence.

  • Planning and setting up a forklift truck ready for work

    Important Information

    To successfully complete TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck certification, participants must:

    Be at least 18 years of age
    Be able to read, write, speak and understand English
    Arrive in suitable attire: Safety boots, long pants and appropriate high-vis attire

    Photo ID
    Participants must provide evidence of their identity before being able to attend the course.
    Please note that non-Australian Driver’s Licences are not accepted.
    A Statement of Attainment cannot be issued if participants are unable to provide valid forms of I.D.

    USI Number Requirements
    All students undertaking nationally recognised training require a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

    Language, Literacy, Numeracy Digital Numeracy (LLND)
    Students require adequate LLND skills as specified by the federal regulator (ASQA)

    Assessment Enrolment Number (AEN)

    Students are required to apply for a SafeWork NSW Assessment Enrolment Number (AEN) prior to training.

    Students cannot be issued a High-Risk Work Licence without a valid A E N.

    Students must bring their Assessment Enrolment Number and an appropriate identity document (e.g. driver licence, NSW photo card, or a current HRW licence) with them on the date of their HRW assessment.
