This Combined Course includes

  • CPCCDE3030: Identify hazards on demolition sites and apply risk management strategies
  • CPCCWHS2001: Apply WHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry – which is a pre-requisite.

This unit is Mandatory for any construction workers working in demolition, including:

  • Physically performing manual demolition work

  • Operating machinery or equipment involved in demolition

  • Working without direct supervision


In order to do licensed demolition work, SafeWork NSW requires all demolition workers must complete mandatory training in for CPCCDE3030 Identify hazards on demolition sites and apply risk management strategies. 

Essential outcomes of this course:

  • For those required to identify hazards common to demolition work, and undiscovered hazards that may arise during the course of work on demolition sites. It includes assessing risks and applying risk management strategies according to compliance and workplace requirements.
  • It supports the induction procedure for specialist demolition workers before beginning work on site.

is accredited by the Federal Regulator Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver CPCCWHS2001: Apply WHS requirements, policies, and procedures in the construction industry training course and CPCCDE3016 Identify hazards on demolition sites and apply risk management strategies.
